Who we are & what we do
Living the Green consults with individuals that want to live well and begin better lifestyle choices that better the mind, body, and the spirit to create wellness.
Holistic nurses believe that healing results in restoring, discovering and/or recognizing one’s inherent wholeness. This sense of wholeness can occur even in the face of illness, injury, and death. Within a philosophy of holism value is given to the concept of care, presence, intuition, comfort, intentionality, love, and compassion as well as spiritual recovery and quality of life inherent in providing quality nursing care. These concepts as well as the interventions that support these values need exploration to understand refine and clarify how they support the healing process. Various ways of providing practice based evidence that support our belief that Holistic care can, and should, be integrated into all forms of health care are needed.

Consider making healthier choices
Consider making healthier choices even with your cleaning products. We spend a lot of time indoors. Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) evaporate into the air when products containing these chemicals are used or sometimes even when they are stored. Read more about improving indoor air quality at http://www.epa.gov/iaq/pubs/careforyourair.html.
